Art

Today we had art all day and I was painting and Christina helped me.

Drama

Today at enrich I was doing Drama with India and Chennea . We did the pop up toaster Chennea and I were the warmers and India was the toast. The other activities  were 
A conveyor belt at a shoe factory.
A vacum cleaner.
A chainsaw.
A hair straighteners.
A cakemixer




Guess what we were on camera  a video camera no jokes here and then we had to quicktime the movie and send it to Alana.

Today with Darryn we are getting ready to make our 3d dragons. I'm making mine out of clay.Mines going to look SPECTACULAR if you want to see it go to enrich.

Henry the Tuatara

Today with Darryn we went to the Museum to see Henry the Tuatara and to sketch him because we were making Dragons out of clay for art talent development. We also went to the art gallery to talk about our art  exhibition with Kathryn. By accident I made Darryn worried because I ran in front of a driveway when we were on our way back to enrich!

Reflection on term 2 at Enrich

2 stars and a wish:
My two stars for this term (two good things) are doing the speed thinking challenges because I like doing the different types of thinking, my second star is using all of the outstanding technology because it is easy to use.
My wish is to work on my time management.  I would plan out my days, and do the hard tasks first and leave the more enjoyable ones for the end.


The teachers are really cool, Alana , Darren and Katie they are really outstanding to me

Little Red Riding Hood at enrich

Today at enrich we had a 5 minute task - it was a play of   LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD    there are three girls in the play Cheanna,Christina and me. I was Little Red Riding Hood Cheanna was Grandma Christina was the puppy that seemed like a wolf. This was a task that helps people get over perfectionism.

SCIENCE!!

Today Darryn was worried  
 about us finishing science.
We had to contact an expert and print our best keynote page I got them done not so sure about the others. 

Haiku poetry

Today with Darryn we did Haiku poetry and this is my favorite one 
                    Mother
5 My Mother is great.
7 loving me without question. 
5 My Mother can grump. 
5 I always know why.
7 Loves me more than stars and sky.
5 I love my mother.         


In Haiku poetry it is japanese and in counts I LOVE my mum.

Photography

Today I did a photography workshop.  I learnt how to take photos, import onto the computer and then to edit them.  I learnt how to crop photos and change the look by straightening and going into effects and experimenting with the different effects.

 I used macro in this photo - macro is a super close up.

I used the effects of cropping, and vignette (the black border) and matte (the white border).

At Enrich Today

Today I played chess at lunchtime and I learned that the queen can move in any direction that she wants but she can't  jump. Knights can jump into a free space within an L shape.
I also went to a blogging workshop and I learnt how to post on the blog and how to change the background on the screen.
I had fun learning these things today.
